Random dishes.

Finally i had my own Sambal Udang.

I didnt eat the one in Grand Dinner but i bought this sambal udang at UKC.

This is Buah Markisar that my mom brought from Padang,Indonesia.

Cik Upik gave to her as ole-ole from Padang.

It is sweet.

But the presence of those little2 seeds inside were kinda annoying , since i dont know how to eat it.

Therefore, i took a spoon and start to eat it like a puding instead.

My mum said the biji can be eaten as well.

it is kinda crunchy and a bit bitter.

Mak kata , dalam biji itulah  khasiat dia banyak.

This is my first time eating Markisar.

It was Okay,i guess.

Sekadar nak lepaskan kempunan je.

This is to replace my Grand Dinner.

I cant remember the name.

but it is nice to be eaten when it is HOT!

Another day out

I didnt get this blog updated for such a long time.

To write in this blog needs concentration. Since this is all about food.
I cant blabber about something nonsense and out of the topic.

so, here we go.

Last Saturday - i went for an outing with Esya & Ummu.
We went to Jalan TAR & KLCC & PAVILLION.

so, lets see what we ate during the whole day outing.

I woke up at 10.50 am. And my class should starts at 11.00 am. Thanks to Laila for coming to my room and do her job - waking me up.

Called 'Arif Hodhori. Asked him what is the Ustaz is doing. and he said - no need to come to class. Yeah. That is the answer that i really want to hear. Since i havent finich designing my project yet.

So, decided to hunt for food at the nearby cafe - UMAR ALKHATTAB CAFE (UKC).  i only ate Pau. No mood to eat. (nak makan un kena ada mood eh?)

First Pasembor in Life.

Hye. Welcome to Penang.

This is my first time ever to eat Pasembor.

Thanks to PakUda for bringing here.

For me , Pasembor is quite similar to Rojak Asma' in my hometown (JB)

I argued a lot with Mak Uda because of those similarities.

i dont know whether it is only me who thinks it's quite same.

try it.

after that , you can tell what is the differences.

and to our suprise , the first pasembor that we had in PENANG,

cost us RM65.

Mak Uda was so shocked and she kept questioning why is it so until we went to Kedah for few days.

After asking my friends from Penang,

They told me that the place that we went for - is known for high prices.

Even , people in penang doesnt eat at that place.

No wonder there are many tourists (outsider / people not from penang)

at the food court.

Ouh, we got unlucky.

never mind.

it is still my first pasembor.

i've tried 3 pasembor(s) while my holiday trip to the northern states.

yeay , look at those mouth-watering pasembor.

if im not mistaken  , these are cengkodok durian or pisang.

and these are cengkodok jagung.

I felt so excited to eat cengkodok jagung because i've never ever try this before.

Naqiah's aunt who were in Kedah , made this on my last day there.

Dinner Set.

Feel quite excited yeahhh. Since this is my first entry about foods. Yummy.

This is Lum mee in Dinner Set 1. It tastes good just because of the chicken with honey. Or else, it is just a plain soup & mee.

I dont know what's the name. the baked beans look good.

it would taste better if it is cold

I ate this yesterday. Rice + BBQ chicken with honey

it tastes good because of the honey. hehe. but it might be too sweet for others.

Thanks for giving the fried egg and put it nicely on top of the rice.

oh there's oyster sauce mixed with the chicken as well. it's only a little.

This is what i managed to snap yesterday. I had my dinner at Old Town Cafe in Jaya One.

It is somekind a routine to be there on every Tuesday and stay until it's getting dark outside.

Next to go : I want to try the Famous white Coffee from Old Town. Insyaallah, i'll come again next week.

Hye everyone.
This is my first entry here.

I've been thinking to share about the foods that i ate in my personal blog before.
But then, i think it will be too crowded. Especially when i love to write such a long long entry. I dont want to mixed everything up. I don't really expect too high for this blog. It is just a part of me who were really excited to share about the foods or drinks that i've tried.

When you visits a new place , try to taste their food. That represents their cultures & traditions as well. I am so looking forward for any vacations to anywhere and try the foods :)

apart from writing , i just discover that i love to try new activities or foods. Maybe,i'll share some recipes. Haha if only i have time to ask anyone in my family who is experts in Cooking stuff. Or else, i might be giving a new recipes as well. Because i do love to cook when i am at home. and of course when i have mood to do so.
